Suddenly access denying
Greetings everyone,
I am not a computer expert AT ALL. All I know is that I downloaded WinSCP years ago and it has worked fine for the EXTREMELY important (albeit limited) tasks I use it for.
Suddenly last week, after I'd already used WinSCP a couple of times that day, I'm getting an "access denied" error and it's asking for my password. Well, even though it's not recommended, I've had my password programmed in so that I don't have to look it up and try to remember it every time I log in.
I've tried looking up the solution through both the forum and WinSCP's directions online, but it is honestly beyond my limited knowledge as to what I'm supposed to be doing or how I can fix it.
I would like to be able to access the "log file" to attach it to this message, but I cannot figure that out either.
This is EXTREMELY important for us to access though, as this is the only way we can both submit billing files to receive money from our payers as well as the only way to receive online payment information from both. Without access to these, we might as well just shut our whole darn business down, as we won't be able to pay anyone or anything.
I can tell you we use the latest version of WinSCP (Version 6.5.5, build 16453). We use Windows 11. We use SFTP protocol. That's all I know.
Can someone PLEASE help? We are quite desperate to get this working ASAP.
