Crash on "crontab -e"

Using WinSCP v.6.5.6, whenever I launch from terminal icon and type "crontab -e" I get a program crash/disconnect. If I launch PuTTY, I can run same command without issue.

I don't use WinSCP very often, but I'm pretty sure this functionality used to work fine.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
