NIST Security Validation

Has WinSCP2 received security validation from NIST (US Dept. of Commerce) or some similar organization?

Re: NIST Security Validation

I don't know of any. However, note that SSH code of WinSCP is taken from Putty 0.53b. So if Putty has some such validation, it should apply to WinSCP too.

I think there are no approvals for Putty or WinSCP or any similar products, because NIST choice is Rijndael (AES algorithm).

I don't get this point, as WinSCP supports AES too.
