Subsequent try on ftp fails - used option set confirm

Executing with Perl and Win32 Process.
1st attempt fails, on retries keep getting message about partially transfered file. Set option set confirm to no avail. Why does this not work?

What does not work?

On the subsequent retry, since a partial file is out there, get the message and the script aborts.

Want it to just continue and pick up where it left off.

Do you have command "option confirm off" in your script?
