how do I change transfer direction?

Hello,
I want to ask how do I change the direction of transfer of files when I use the "Synchronize local directory with remote directory" function. Because sometimes i want to put on server older files from local machine, and I don't want to do it manually going through the directories. So when i compare the 2 directories there is only the check/uncheck option and no option to choose which direction i want to transfer. I know there is compare directories command but that doesn't go into subdirectories.

I used to use total commander, but it doesn't support SCP, so I was used to its directory compare function, where you could choose the direction of the transfer and which files to transfer all in one widow for all subdirs. So something similar maybe would be quite nice...

thats not what I wanted

take for example that you have a document home/www/doc.txt on the server and a copy on local machine, you change the document you have on local and then use the synchronize option from directory home. you will get a list of files, one of them is bound to be www/doc.txt. However, I want to keep the document that is on the server and copy it to local. But the comparison tells me that the newer version is on local and I cant change the way the copying is set. If i synchronize and select the target local, then the document is not displayed at all. And now imagine that there are 50 documents like this, all in different folders. And thats my situation, that I would like to see a comparison of the two sides with sub-folders and THEN choose which way I want to copy each of the files. Or have the direction preset but be able to change it for the files i need.

OK, I see. But that's a quite a change. I'll consider it nevertheless.

BTW, the next version will have "mirror" synchronization mode, where even "older" files are "mirrored" to the target directory.
