Way to automatically preserve file format?

I have a lot of files I edit on my Linux server, and some are in PC format while others are in UNIX format. Is there a way to have WinSCP automatically detect which format a file is in and not mess with that? I'd rather not have to check which format a particular file is in and then check the EOL environment settings, and change them if necessary, for each file I might want to edit. Thx

WinSCP cannot automatically detect that. But it can detect that by file extension (or maybe directory where the file is stored), if it helps you.
