session password

is there usually a different password logging in with a session password??.. I cannot get past this point..

Sorry, I do not understand the question.

I am trying to connect Linux machine using ftp(no sftp) with username and password.
It asks me to enter session password after following message.
connecting to (ftp server)
connected with (ftp server). waiting for welcome message. :cry:
