Find and replace in multiple files?

I was wondering if there's a way to find and replace text in many files at once?

Any ideas, please?

It is not implemented.

I was wondering if any consideration has been given to implementing a global find a replace of text in all open edit files? This could be useful in providing global configuration of web page variables.
