Connection Errors (I Read the FAQ)

Ya im getting a connection error when i try to log in, it says Network error: Connection timed out. i tried creating it in windows firewall and setting it to allow the connection or whatever but it didnt work. i am trying to use SFTP.
any more information you guys need?

Are you sure that the server actually runs a SFTP? If it does, can you connect from other locations?

yes it runs an SFTP , i cant connect from another computer on the same router but idk about a different router.

Well, this was for my ipod touch cause i jail broke it and i needed an FTP client for it. so should i redo the jail break process or do you think that it's a router problem?
