Blank Screen When connected to MVS host (z/OS)

I can connect to a MVS (z/OS)host running a FTP server, but get no directory listing from either a MVS directory (PDS) or a Unix Subsystem directory (HFS directory).

I am using version 4.0.5 of WinSCP.

With FTP protocol WinSCP is not compatible with non-Unix-like systems.
