WinSCP will not transfer files with a "$" in the name

Is it a bug that WinSCP can not transfer files with a $ in the name of the file?

Is there a workaround for this?

I works for me, both with SCP and SFTP. Can you post a log file? Do you use SFTP or SCP? If you use SCP, do you have BASH shell?
