Topic "Pop up when updating edited file & recognize editor from ext"

I'd like to get a little notification that winscp is uploading the new edited version of a file that I'm editing(By selecting "Edit" in context menu in remote directory) when winscp isn't visible or minimized.

Also, I know that you can assign different editor to different filetypes manually but it would be nice if it recognized the filetypes and associated editors from the defaults in windows.

I'm a recent switcher from filezilla and I'm not looking back! Greatest windows client I've used!

Similar issue is being tracked already.

It is not that easy as WinSCP also needs to know what kind of editor it is (option External editor opens multiple files in one window).
