Date mismatch on download

When a file is downloaded the time stamp on the downloaded is set back to 12/20/1899 at 12:00 AM. Verified all settings to be fine. The date and time are completely missing when I look at the file properties using Windows explorer.

Re: Date mismatch on download

What protocol are you using? Can you post how local directory listing looks like (using dir command in windows shell). Also sample of remote directory may be useful.

Hi,

I have the same issue, using WinSCP 4.1.8. Any idea how this can be resolved?

Thanks
Sanjeev

Please read FAQ. If that does not help, come back.

Hi, I did read the FAQ. The Preserve Timestamp option is checked.

In Windows Explorer, when the file is being written first, it does have show the timestamp for a fleeting moment, but when its all done, the timestamps get cleared. In WinSCP window, the downloaded files show a timestamp of 12/31/1899.

Where do you download the file to? What protocol?

Can you provide me your email address, so I can send you a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? If you do not want to post the address here, you can send me an email. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link to this topic. Thanks.
