Topic "Timezone problems when comparing directories"

Thanks for providing an excellent program.

I connect to a server that is in a different timezone (2 hours ahead). When I copy files to the server, I find that the timestamp is adjusted two hours up. The reverse adjustment is made when I copy the other direction.

This is reasonable, but when I invoke "Compare Directories", it does not take timezone adjustments into account. Files are marked as newer, even though they are effectively the same, after adjusting for the timezone difference.

I have the "preserve timestamp" option on, and the connection type is SCP.

I haven't solved this with SCP yet. Try SFTP.
