files not over written

Hi,

I am very new to WINscp and have used Dreamweaver CS3 to upload my files in the past.

I now have to upload using SFTP and it was recommended I use your program.

All seems fairly straight forward, I connect with no problems to the remote site when I 'drag & drop ' an updated file onto the existing file, I am asked if I wish to overwrite the remote file and I answer 'yes' but nothing changes.

What am I doing wrong?? :? :?

I hope someone can put me straight.

Is the file uploaded at all? I.e. does the file size change (in case size of the content changes)?
