howto set automatic check update with proxy ?

I'm try to set
automatic check update on 4.0.1
with proxy wath need Password autentification.

Onpreferences I can add "use Proxy" the proxy name and proxy port
but not user and pass

and when i'm try ti check I've "http 407 error"

WinSCP does not support check for updates via proxy with authentication.

I was hoping to see supported the username:password@server:port syntax. But sometimes implementing this can open the can of worms.
