WinSCP not responding

HI,

My WinSCP stops responding and I can't kill it in 'windows task manager'.

WinSCP Version 4.1.6

OS is VISTA 32 bit (brand new install) and I had the same issue on my last machine and assumed it was my flaky VISTA but I'm still getting the same problem on my new machine / fresh build.

Came about when I was trying to transfer from Windows to Linux machine and it failed on transfer and the stops responding, eventually windows goes 'white' and states not responding. I tried to kill it in task manager and the 'end process' states ending but nothing happens.

I've opened a new WinSCP but it immediatly stops responding. At this point the only way to kill the process is reboot.
