99% file drop

Hello, I am having a problem when I try to put files to my ftp server. It gets up to 99% then for some reason the connection drops and it gives me this erroe message:
"Timeout dected. Copying files to remote side failed. Opening BINARY mode dataconnection for "file name here"".
It happens with every file that I try to put on, I would like to know if anyone has an solution to this.

Hi, Martin!

I have the same issue on one of my ftp servers.

When I download large files from server (for example more 60 MB), when download comes to 99%, winscp hangs then shows this:

Lost connection.
Timeout detected.
Copying files from remote side failed.
Opening BINARY mode data connection for file.zip (77644380 bytes)

And then winscp reconnects by itself and finishes download. File size on hard drive seems to have the same size as on server. Buy I don't know for sure if downloading was completed or not.

Is it safe to use site backup archives, which are downloaded through such reconnect? Is such download finished?

Any chance of having a test account on your server?
Also have you tried increasing server response timeout?

You mean me to give you server, login and password for ftp on my server? Yes I can send it in private.

Honestly, I don't know where to change this server response.

Martin had no problems downloading my big file, but I still have. Maybe it's because of my russian internet provider or wifi router. My hosting-provider and winscp developer believe it is safe to use such dropped/reconnected files, so I will use them.
