Times Out and Drops Connection

Hi group, Not sure others have this issue, but when I enable keep remote files updated, very often SCP drops the connection. I enabled NOOP and checked the server's settings (XLIGHTFtp) but it keeps dropping the connection. I see and enabled the Keep Alive feature to 10 sec but it doesn't seem to work. By the way, both the client (SCP) and the FTP server are on the same machine... I use SCP to force remote update on change option.

Any suggestions?

Dave, i wish i could answer your question, but i have the same problem: using the Keep Remote Directory Up to Date feature my connection times out. My server admin people tell me they are not forcing the disconnect and i don't see any preferences to configure for WinSCP to keep it from disconnecting.

I'm anxious to see if anyone has resolved this issue.

Can you post a log file?

I turned logging on and this is all i get when the disconnect happens. It took over an hour for it to disconnect.

Have you tried to enabled keepalives?
