how can I avoid temporary filenames (extension .filepart)

Hello,

is it possible to store a file on the remote SFTP-server without a temporay filename (extension ".filepart").

Thanks!

Nope.

To follow up on Martin's replies, 12 years later, the answer is no, there is no way to disable the .filepart extension. Neither the documentation nor the FAQ even mention this.

That's not true. The documentation linked above shows how to do that:
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_pref_resume#temporary

Also, now, there's better way to do it from the command-line now:
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/commandline#rawtransfersettings
