winscp cannot upload file the session has already closed

hi,

i am new to winscp and there is one quirk that i really need to know how to work around.
Is there anyway to save the session and temporary folders cause everytime i close the session the files inside my editor are opened and when i relog back i try to save the data in my editor and it says cannot upload the file as the session has already closed.

So everytime i relog in i have to clear all the files and stuff i have in my editor and open new ones again. is there a way around this?

Why do you close the session?
Do you close WinSCP altogether or disconnect the session only?

I am switching off the computer. so i have to close the session

You mean hibernation?

I use both hibernation and shutdown. but should it matter which one i use?

With shutdown you can hardly expect WinSCP to solve this for you. Hibernation is obviously different thing.
