Macintosh Character Set Causing Problems
Hi,
I'm using WinSCP to transfer files from a Macintosh box runing Jaguar (OSX 10.2). Whenever it encounters an accented character, it chokes (gracefully!).
I used pscp.exe from the putty website to dump the output of the directory using the -ls option to a file. The offending characters are represented by an ASCII NULL (00) character.
The line looks like this:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 cathcart staff 5181440 Jun 18 2002 [01;32mAquí No Será.mp3[0m
where the question marks have replaced the ASCII NULL characters for purposes of pasting into the forums.
If you would like me to reproduce this again, perhaps with more detail, please email me. Thanks! Great program!
