forbidden i cannot gain acces to my page

after all my files have been designated in a public file and have been uploaded to the site i cannot view its contents on the site because it is giving me a forbidden error message saying that i do not have permissio to access the site on this server how do i make the files public and fix this

It is hard to give you any advice know knowing your system. Particularly OS of yoru system and webserver. Anyway, you should better seek advice with administrator of the system.
