Any chance of fixing bug #58 - editing files with 'aux'

I have files located in /aux/www/html/ and I can't edit on the fly because of the folder that is created (aux) - Windows doesn't allow it.

Is this bug expected to be fixed in the near future?

I have raised its priority. But I cannot promise any date.
