Can't change password anymore

I changed my ftp-passwords by the provider. After successfully having changed one password in WinSCP, trying to change further passwords permanently fails. I have any idea why.

Would be glad about help.

Sorry, I mainly do not understand the substance of the problem. What do you mean, by "trying to change further passwords permanently fails"? What do you do? Please describe step by step.

Okay Martin,

Start WinSCP or press Ctrl + N in the open WinSCP: in that popping up window mark the website of which you want to change the password, then click "Bearbeiten" (cannot find the language settings to change my language, it must be "Edit"), then in the field "Password" enter your new password and click "Save".

Now - after adding (replacing the old password with the new one) the new password I cannot login, when I try to access my website in the usually way, I am asked for a password or / and an attestation "Bescheinigung".

In FileZilla I have changed all passwords without any problem, may be I am missing anything, do not know what at all.

Have you any idea? Would be glad about.

Yes, it is prompted automatically as far as I see.

After creating new different accounts (to replace the ones with the old passwords) with the new passwords, I cannot log in, also.

When authentication with stored password fails, are you able to at least log in by typing the password on the authentication window?

After creating new different accounts (to replace the ones with the old passwords) with the new passwords, I cannot log in, also.
By account you mean stored session in WinSCP or have you indeed created new accounts on the FTP server?

No, when I try to login with the "Login" button to one of these accounts and it fails and I enter the password in the popping up window asking for the password it always fails also.

Ah sorry, it fails both, trying to login in new created (test) accounts on the server (with the new created sessions in WinSCP for these accounts) and with new created sessions for the existing accounts (and with changed passwords of the existing sessions in WinSCP).
