error on win 98 --> error reading LogImages

hi,
after download and install winscp340setupintl i start winscp on my win98-system.
but it doesnt work. there comes a window which says:
"Error reading LogImages --> Bitmap:
Failed to read ImageList data from stram."

whats wrong whith it ?

I do not have win98 anymore to test it. Can you try some older version for me? Like 2.0 beta or 2.1? Please let me know.
