Windows 7 installation error

Trying to install WinSCP 4.2.4 beta OR WinSCP 4.1.9 on Window7 Home Premium edition results immediately in access violation error under the installation.
"Access violation at adress 00409942, Write of adress 00400000"
Does anyone know a fix?

Nobody reported the problem before. Can you download portable executable and try to run it, to see if you get the same error?

Just tried this on a clean machine on work with Windows 7 Prof. Same problem, even I can see this works on very similar configurations.

Any ideas?
