New User with problems

Hi am getting the following error message, please help.

The server does not support the operation.
Error code: 8
Error message from server: SSHServerAPI.SFTP.fxp_attrs
Request code: 9

I am using Windows XP, with WinSCP 4.1.9. Connecting to a SFTP site.
