Create sub-folders automatically using synchronize

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered - searched for 30 min but couldn't find anything in documentation or forums.

Will WinSCP create sub-folders using synchronize?

Example:

synchronize remote "W:\MYFOLDER" "/MYFOLDER"

If 2 new subfolders are created in W:\MYFOLDER called SUB1 & SUB2, will those folders automatically be created/added to the FTP site in /MYFOLDER?

Thanks for the reply. So if it's not, then there's an issue with the FTP server? Because that's the case - it's not creating folders.

Actually, issue ended up being rights on FTP server. Thanks for the reply.
