DeleteToRecycleBin doesn't seem to work

I have two transfer Batch Files setup which get their settings from custom INI files for the sites. I would like to transfer files and after the transfer delete the Source Files.
I am transferring from a Windows 2003 Server via SFTP.

In the INI file I have the following line

DeleteToRecycleBin=1

The batch files works, reads settings from the INI file, connects, transfers the files and exits properly. It just doesn't delete the source files after the transfer.

Do I have something set wrong to get it to delete the files or is this something that cannot be done?

DeleteToRecycleBin in Configuration\Interface applied to local files and for GUI only.
You have to the DeleteToRecycleBin in session section to affect deleting remote files.

I am trying to Delete the source files which are on my local machine (Windows 2003. I am connecting to a remote server (not sre of the OS) and doing a "put" and so once the transfer is complete I want the source directory (local computer) to be empty.


I pout the DeletetoRecycleBin=1 in the Session section however that had no effect. It still works the same.. Transfer is OK but source files still there????

I'm not sure why it weon't delete the local files so If I cnnot get WinSCP to do it I will have to delete them some other way..

Do expect DeletetoRecycleBin to delete local files after upload? It does not do that. You need to script it. E.g. "put -delete". Or explicitly using "rm" command.
