WinSCP returns errorcode even though resumed file has comple

I have at the moment a bad connection to Internet where sending files from my computer using WinSCP.com returns error even though after several re-connects and resumes the file completes successfully, meaning it reaches 100% and it is renamed from having the suffix .filepart to not have the suffix. At this point I am expecting WinSCP to return 0 as errorcode, since it managed to send the file successfully even though it had problems doing it.
Am I wrong in my expectation or is this a bug in WinSCP? Please advice!
