how to script "support for listing of hidden files" off

I'm trying to automate a download process using winscp.com. When using the UI I have to turn "support for listing of hidden files" to off.

If it's enabled in the UI, all the directory listings are empty.

From winscp I get this when there are in fact files in the folder that are not hidden:

D--------- 0 0 ..

I need to turn "support for listing of hidden files" off in a winscp.com session.

How do you do that?
