portable winscp and local shortcuts

i use the portable winscp (version 4.2.7) and i can't follow the local shortcuts with it.

The link option is grayed.How can it be active-

You were asking about "following" links, not "creating".

The command File > New Link is disabled, when you have the remote panel selected and the server does not allow creating links.

If you want to create a local shortcut, you have to focus the local panel first.
