Are EOL line ends auto-converted when transferred from Unix

On Unix based systems all text files contain different EOL line end chars as on win based systems.

Are these line ending chars AUTOMATICALLY converted when transferred
through WinSCP?

Can I define it somewhere (if i want conversion)?
