move files from lcoal to remote directory

This may be very simple but it seems to elude me. What is the command or the process to move files from the local directory to the remote directory? Thanks San

In Norton Commander like interface you can use F6 hot key or Move functionin Files menu. You can also use drag&drop (hold Shift key while dragging).
