SFTP Commandline Failed Authentication with + in password

I am able to connect to a SFTP server using the WinSCP GUI where the password contains a plus sign. When I try to access the same account in a script using the open command and include the password which contains a plus sign '+' the authentication will fail.

Issue found in 4.2.9 and 4.3 beta.
