How to configure WinSCP for accessing SourceForge?

I swear I looked for it in the FAQ.

I have to upload my project site to SourceForge, but the instructions there are only for command line SSH and SCP. When I try to connect, login fails (I'm sure I'm using the right loginname and password). So, is there any special configuration required for connecting to SourceForge?

I use WinSCP to access SourceForge myself. There is no special configuration. Just type host name (shell.sourceforge.net) and your username/password. That is all, you may leave all default options. If this does not work, please post a log file.
