"Console interface for WinSCP has encountered a problem"

WinSCP crashes if run from a directory path that is too long, e.g.

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\My Documents\_Projects\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\WinSCP.com

I'm not able to reproduce this. Is this the actual path you have tried it with? How do you run WinSCP?

Okay, it must be something with my PC. The path I mentioned is the same but I substituted x's for the personal information. I run it by copying the .com and .exe files to a directory and opening a DOS prompt there. If WinSCP is in C:\ or a shorter path, it runs fine. This is with WinXP SP3, 3GB RAM.
