Amazon S3
Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a web service offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).1
Amazon S3 provides cloud storage through web service interfaces (REST, SOAP, and BitTorrent). WinSCP uses the REST interface to interact with S3.

There are also other storage services that support S3 API, like Google Cloud Storage, Backblaze B2, Dell ECS, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Wasabi, Oracle Object Storage, etc. You can use WinSCP with these services as well.
