I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

Sorry I attached the wrong file, that's the Core log that is still being written at this time. Attached here is the WinSCP log.

I attached the log file of trying to upload a folder (The wordpress Jetpack plugin, 19MB in total size across 1553 files). I am generating a log file from Core program now, it can upload the whole folder fine but it takes a LONG time to do it, it's got about 12 MB left to do. I don't know why it's so slow but I assume it must be on the server end since my uplink speed is great here.

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

A log file from Core FTP for a comparison would help too.

Basically the issue is it times out. For example trying to upload a folder (example 19MB worth of files to a plugin folder on a WordPress install directory). As it churns through the queue it will upload 5-10 files, then timeout and disconnect (I have to click reconnect on the dialog to continue, and sometimes it results in the host blocking login saying too many connections from IP). My Transfer/Background preferences were already and still are set to max number of transfers: 1.

Re: Refund for Store Purchase

We are sorry, but Microsoft does not allow refunds of Store purchases:
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/microsoft_store#refund

Can we help you with setting up WinSCP for your host? What exact problem are you getting? Can you post a session log file? A log file for a working session with Core FTP LE might be useful as well.

Refund for Store Purchase

I purchased Win SCP via the Microsoft Store, but unfortunately it doesn't work with my host and I can't upload files. My host pointed me to use "Core FTP LE" instead, which works without a problem.

Can I get a refund for the purchase? I just purchased it mere moments ago.
