WinSCP installed on Windows 2008 R2 fails to connect to target machine
WinSCP installed on Windows 7 on Personal Computer connects to target machine but
WinSCP installed on Windows 2008 R2 OS on virtual server fails to connect to same target machine using same logon credentials.
Using WinSCP 5.7.6 with “Commander” interface on both Window versions.
File Protocol is FTP with TLS/SSL Explicit encryption, port 21
Error message states the target machine actively refused connection on 2008 R2 server. I checked with our network administrator and neither Personal Computer or virtual machine have any blocking firewalls.
Might you have any ideas why WinSCP does not work on Windows 2008 R2? Thank you.
