[solved] pls ask for password only once

I'm ask for a password during login (remote side does not accept public ssh key - FWIW).

If I then edit a file and want save it - I'm asked again for the (same) password.
I think this is a logic error b/c the password was already given, isn't it ?

What version of WinSCP are you using? Please make sure you are using the latest one.
Also make sure you have not unchecked Remember password of main session for background transfers:
