Hello. I get an error while using the latest WinSCP (5.1.4) from my home Win7 computer. I get a time out while its trying to list the directory on the FTPS server.

I dont have this problem when i use the latest FileZilla (3.6.0.2).

Protocol is FTPS Explicit in GUI mode.

The logs for WinSCP and FileZilla are pasted below.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi, I got an error mentioning this error when I connected to the hostname.

Protocol is FTPS Explicit in GUI mode.

Server sent passive reply with unroutable address 10.50.0.10, using host address instead.
Could not retrieve directory listing
Connection closed; aborted transfer of "/"

Any idea how to resolve this?

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Also attach a corresponding log file from FileZilla.

Do you have the problem when connecting from other machines/networks? It's possible that the connection is blocked by a local firewall (you might have a firewall rule that allows FileZilla)

Erm. Don think we block the application. If block then i believe it won have a chance to even get connected.
