Are transfer presets working in WinSCP.comcommand line mode?

I am using winscp.com from a DOS command line prompt, and WinSCP wants to put *.cgi to the server in binary mode. I have tried to turn on the Text preset (transfer mode to automatic, selection rule host name *), but that does not work? Do those settings apply to the winscp.com interface?

Presets cannot be used in scripting. But as you want to change transfer mode only, you do not need presets at all. Just use -transfer switch:
