Problem with download of big files using WinCP

Hello !
First of all - I'm still not 100% sure the problem relates to WinCP.
I use on server side - Centos 6.5 with standard SSH service.
I use on home PC - Windows 7
I use WinCP 5.5.1 version
Download on background.
All WinCP settings - default.

The story is - when I try to download a big file through WinCP (size 1-2 GB) - after a 3-5 minutes it stops and hungs to a dead.
No reaction to CANCEL or SUSPEND on Download Queue.
No tries to reconnect with server (if a connection is lost on background)
Only Ctrl-Esc on Windows with Kill Service can help - because even after F10 exit from WinCP - it's still running.

I have two ideas in my mind what could cause this problem.

1) Something is wrong with SSH settings on server side - this case I would be EXTREMELY obliged for a right example of SSHD config file - I'll make some tests with the one.

2) Something is wrong with WinCP - because it actually loses a feedback and even does not try to reconnect with server/resume download (as said above - only KILL SERVICE on Windows 7 helps)

Thanks in advance for any hint !
Best regards
Serge

Re: Problem with download of big files using WinCP

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.
