Backslash in remote path

There still seems to be a issue related to Bug 482.
When trying to delete a folder (files work fine) containing backslashes these are converted to slashes in the command sent.

Best case: nothing happens as the resulting path is invalid
Worst case: the resulting path is valid and the wrong folder is deleted[/url]

I have only tested this using FTP.

Re: Backslash in remote path

So you have a folder whose name (not the path) contains a backslash?

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
We changed our rules for Folder names to avoid problems like this in the future, but as you probably want to fix this bug anyway here is the log.
