Error code 4

Hi.........am new to this, but hope someone can help.
When I go to transfer anything over to my public folder I get :
'Copying files to remote side failed', with 'Error Code 4' attached. I have never had this before, and have NO idea what to do. Help !

Yes I have, and cannot see anything there. Am not able at this moment to contact server,and was hoping for some ideas.
It was fine till last night. Cannot see how it can be full, as before this had deleted some pages, to make way for new.
This is all a bit new for me.

OK, but I guess that you are not the only user of the server, are you?
