Queue File List

Why is there no file detail in the queue list? If I select 20 files to transfer I get to see the files in process, but what about the files that are waiting?

If I were to go to the trouble of downloading each file individually, it starts transferring all the files at the same time, slowing all transfers.

How does WinSCP decide the order of the files to transfer? It surely isn't alphabetically.

I am very impressed with the software, and I like the features it offers over Filezilla, but the queue hiding files that are pending with no way to tag one with important priority (ie is next file to transfer) is VERY limiting. The inability to transfer specific files from different directories without them all transferring at the same time and slowing down all the transfers is also VERY limiting. IMO, because of the way that I use the software, at a bare minimum, there should be a way to easily see which files are pending, and the ability to set the total number of files transferred at a time.

Are either of these options possible?

This issue is being tracked already:

You can vote for it there.

WinSCP transfer at most 2 files at a time by default. You must have changed the defaults, if "it starts transferring all the files at the same time".

It transfers them in the order in which OS lists them. Which is (usually) alphabetical order.
