In WinSCP password is not saved even during the session

Hello,
Small problem of WinSCP in Windows (latest Windows, latest WinSCP)

1) When servers use Duo (Two Factor Authentication) the WinSCP still continuing asking for passwords additionally twice when you start download via SFTP clicking Alt+B (or clicking on the small icon "proceed in background" in download window showing the progress of download) despite in Settings the passwords are requested to be remembered. This is a small annoyance but better to fix it

2) In addition this is a request to add related option to Settings to Save Password. Currently passwords are saved only during working session, but if disconnection of computer happens you need to login using passwords again. This is annoying specifically if DUO authentication is used by the servers

Re: In WinSCP password is not saved even during the session

Please attach a full session log file for both problems.

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
