System Error. Code: 32. -- how to debug "Can't open file" error (while in use) with specific files

I work from Win 10 with WinSCP on a linux box. I have several hundred files in my project and no problems whatsoever to edit most of them. There are however 2 files where I get an error on save most of the time, but surprisingly not always. In one session I may get 90 % errors, 10 % are fine.

I can work around this error simply by clicking the "Retry" button, so I lived with this problem for years. But now, working heavily on a 507 KB file for days, I would like to know how I can debug this phenomenon.

I see that these are big files, an obvious difference to other files. One is about 2239 KB, the other 507 KB. Another one has 582 KB and I seldom had this error here, others have around 300 KB, no problem at all. So the size may be a hint.

I don't see how my code could be using this file, and if so, why the retry option would resolve the issue then. Any ideas?

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP). Some screenshots might help too.

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
